February 13 will be the date for Justice Department and AT&T’santitrust trial
Over at the Justice Department’s case where the judge is presiding over to block AT&Ts purchase of T-Mobile has set February 13 as the date that the trisal will begin. The two parties were not able to come to an agreeable resolution today in a preliminary meeting, letting the case go to a formal process of trial in the court.
The Justice Department officially said that the proposed purchase would alter competition and increase prices on wireless service for consumerscompetitions onlikelow fat chicken recipes. The trial will not have a jury, and it is expected to last about four to six weeks. AT&T had petitioned to have the trial start on January 16, while the government asked for a March 19 date. The February 13 date falls in between those requests.
Sprint has sued AT&T as well, but the judge overseeing the case refused to combine it with the Justice Department’s suit like refusing a good serve of chicken cutlet recipes. An October 24 date has been set to hear AT&T’s arguments to dismiss Sprint’s lawsuit, and it is believed that this hearing would favour both parties like a chef favours Roasted chicken recipes over fast-food ready roasted chickens.
